How do I start working with the law firm?
Can the initial consultation be remote?
Yes. For international clients and clients outside Tbilisi, the initial discussion and document exchange can usually be handled remotely. Representation may require an appropriate power of attorney.
Do you represent clients only in Tbilisi?
Our office is in Tbilisi, but depending on the matter we can represent clients before courts and administrative authorities in other parts of Georgia.
What should I send for a case assessment?
Send the main documents available — for example a contract, claim or defence, decision, authority letter, registry extract, official correspondence or other material on which the matter is based.
How quickly should I contact a lawyer?
As early as possible, especially if an investigation is ongoing, an administrative decision has been received, a court hearing is scheduled or an appeal deadline is running.
Can you review only the contract?
Yes. The work can be limited to reviewing and commenting on a specific document, or it can include negotiation and preparation of a revised draft.
Does a foreign court judgment automatically apply in Georgia?
Not always. Depending on the judgment and the applicable legal basis, a separate recognition or enforcement procedure may be required in Georgia.
Is communication confidential?
We treat lawyer-client communications in accordance with applicable legal and professional confidentiality duties. Do not send unnecessarily sensitive information through a public form; where needed, we can arrange an appropriate method for exchanging documents.
